From Friday Dec.31 at 12 AM Midnight, through Monday Jan.3rd, at Noon, KKUP People's Radio presents: New Age Visionary Music Marathon. Contemplative, spacious, inspiring music and thoughts to expand your awareness and imagination, and to mark this moment of passage into a New Year. As you reflect on this milestone of time, listen to the music of the future.
Visionary music includes some of the most innovative, artistic and deeply moving sounds being created today. KKUP is one of the few places in our region where you can hear it on a regular basis. The emphasis during the marathon will be on ambient electronic and acoustic music. Join us Friday morning at 4 AM when Brother Anthony leads us in the world prayer for peace happening simultaneously at this time around the world. Other highlights of the 4-day event will be the annual "ringing in the new year" collage at Midnight New Years Eve, with guest artist Paradiso, and an interview with highly-regarded composer Robert Rich, Sunday Jan.2nd at 3 PM, and other events tba.
