Starting around 9:00 am will be a live performance by piccolo-bassist Darin Schaffer. A local area musician who plays the bass guitar in a melodic way, he's also studied at the Ali Akbar College of Music.

Also, Carol and I will have a spotlight on Stephan Micus for our classic feature of the week.

Plus we'll be playing music from two fine premium CDs that we'll be giving away to subscribers: 'Lamentate' by the Estonian composer Arvo Part, and 'Elemental Journey' by Absolute Ambient & Ishq (British synthesists).
