WHAT: KKUP RADIO FUNDRAISING MARATHON
KKUP will sponsor its annual Folk, Bluegrass & Country Marathon


WHEN: FRIDAY, 2/16, 3:00 P.M. THROUGH SUNDAY, 2/18, MIDNIGHT.

**SPECIAL KICK-OFF SHOW WITH LIVE MUSIC BY "HOUSTON JONES" AND OTHERS!
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 7:00 – 10:00 P.M.

**SPECIAL MARATHON WRAP-UP ON MONDAY, 2/19, 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. WITH LIVE BLUEGRASS


WHY: TO RAISE $20,000 towards yearly operating costs for "YOUR" non-profit community radio station, KKUP Cupertino 91.5 FM.

We are pre-empting our regular programming on this special weekend to present bluegrass, country and folk music. We will have lots of LIVE MUSIC, including: ANNIE AND THE VETS . KKUP is financed solely by subscriptions. No corporate or government money is used. We are raising funds for operating expenses, (there is no paid staff), and for sorely needed new equipment.

Those who pledge during this marathon will be eligible for special premiums including recordings, special commemorative t-shirts, concert and festival tickets and more, and will become members of KKUP.
