Folk Oldies - Let's go back to a time when folk music was on top - a magic time of
the late 50's and early 60's. Wasn't that a time, a time that spawned the new talents of the Kingston Trio, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and the Smothers Brothers. A time that also paid homage to the artists that got them there like the Weavers, Burl Ives and Marais and Miranda. It didn't last long, but what a trip it was. Tune in sample it all with the stomping sounds of Judy Henske and Hoyt Axton and many, many more.

It encapsulates the spirit of youth, which was manifest in those exciting (and sometimes frightening) early days of - getting your first car - learning about love (and romance). And what better setting could there be than the California coastline – where great natural beauty enhances the efforts of 'surfer studs' and 'cool-car casanovas' to attract the attention of those lovely girls - those 'California Girls.'
